Front Row @ Miu Miu Fall 2011

Miu Miu got their front row casting spot on.
They mixed pretty young actresses who were ‘up and coming’ or had worn Miu Miu/Prada several times in the past.
Ginnifer Goodwin wore a black shoulder-accented sleeveless Miu Miu dress with python platform peep-toe pumps and matching clutch.
I’m not usually bored by Ginnifer, but I am in this case. Especially considering how everyone else looked.
Jennifer Lawrence wore a Miu Miu red silk puff sleeve dress with a black leather narrow belt, black pumps, and a white/black printed wristlet clutch.
I love this look, but the clutch throws me a bit.
Hailee wore an adorable Miu Miu blush pink silk long sleeve dress with an ivory ruffled collar.
Black multi-strap leather pumps and a leopard print clutch completed her look.
Once again superb styling, but I found myself distract by the smoky eye make-up.
Mila Kunis always knows how to make a black dress look sexy with her smoldering aura.
She wore a Miu Miu black V-neck dress with silver embroidered details.
She took a rare night off wearing Brian Atwood pumps instead opting for Miu Miu patent peep-toes.
Love Hailee and Mila.

Carven Fall 2011

Guillaume Henry’s Fall 2011 collection for Carven gives us a little bit of everything because it is made for real-life girls like you and I.
At the showroom yesterday I saw a modern collection of statement cocktail dresses, A-line skirts, cropped sweaters, adorable shorts, luxe wool coats with furry sleeves, sweater dresses, platform wedges, bags, suede cut-out boots, flared skirts and a tan leather jacket I must own before the end of 2011.
What stood out most were the plaid pieces. I especially loved the asymmetrical plaid top above which was paired with the burgundy skirt.
This collection is perfect for elegant girls about town in search of Parisian chic.
Guillaume Henry’s Carven collection is sold via Net-A-Porter US and Net-A-Porter International.
Who I See Wearing This Collection: Leighton Meester, Ginnifer Goodwin, Alexis Bledel, Lea Michele, Rihanna, Dakota Fanning, Kristen Stewart and Chloe Sevigny

No. 21 Fall 2011

Alessandro Dell’Acqua’s No. 21 collections are receiving a lot of celebrity attention at the moment, so I was keen to check out the new Fall 2011 collection.
The sweet yet sexy collection would shift from blouses and pencil skirts to dangerous plunging necklines on a peachy, buttercup, metallic silver, pink, white, black and grey colour palette.
We saw lady-like secretary dresses, shimmering sweaters, sweater dresses, plunging necklines, a pastel blouse paired with metallic pencil skirt, cute cardi’s, cigarette pants, boxy feathered jackets and lace dresses.
The feathered and laces look caught my attention. The feathered looks had plenty of movement on the runway, whilst the lace looks had a sultry innocence about them.
This was a beautifully simple collection with wearability, sex appeal and personality.
Key accessories included orange earrings and t-bar pointy pumps.
Who I See Wearing This Collection: Kate Bosworth, Zoe Saldana, Ginnifer Goodwin, Megan Fox and Camilla Belle

Ginnifer Goodwin In Roksanda Ilincic – 13th Annual Costumer Designers Guild Awards

Ginnifer Goodwin showed off her new even shorter, more edgier boyish crop at the 13th Annual Costumer Designers Guild Awards in LA last night.
The “Something Borrowed” actress wore a Roksanda Ilincic Spring 2010 dress.
Her two tone dress with a black satin top and gold metallic sculptural asymmetrical skirt was paired with black Jimmy Choo ‘Zafira’ platform sandal and a Jimmy Choo ‘Lana’clutch
I like the dress a lot on the runway, but I’m not sure about it on Ginnifer.
Maybe I’m thrown off the look with the new hairstyle or maybe I’m just not into this look on her.
It has more personality on the runway.
