Gwyneth Paltrow In Vionnet – “My Father’s Daughter” Book Signing

Gwyneth Paltrow showed off her fine, fit legs demonstrating that indulges in good food and clean living whilst meeting fans at Williams-Sonoma in New York City.
She was there to sign copies of her new book, “My Father’s Daughter.”
The blonde actress wore a navy Vionnet Spring 2011 dress with the obligatory funky heels.
I know many of you are tired of her minimalist dress / edgy shoe combo, but I love these navy Aperlai Spring 2011 heels with cream and turquoise straps.
Her ribbed knit dress with an asymmetrical hemline was paired with the same bow front leather belt the model wore, but Gwynie opted out of wearing the gold collar.

Drew Barrymore In Catherine Malandrino – Kimberly Snyder Book Launch Event

Drew Barrymore attended the book launch for Kimberly Snyder’s “The Beauty Detox Solution” this week in West Hollywood.
Sporting a fresh new red do, the star has finally turned her back on ombre hair.
Her biker chick chic look included a Catherine Malandrino black leather jacket with a draped lapel which she paired with J Brand “901” low-rise denim leggings, lace up ankle boots and a black Mulberry clutch with gold accented.
I really loved her feathered earrings.
Feathered earrings are becoming trend as they have been sported on Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Biel and Vanessa Hudgens.
Gwyneth made a statement with her hot pink Wilfredo Rosado feathers to contrast her black look, whilst Jessica and Vanessa’s feather earrings gave their looks a boho vibe.
Do you see yourself wearing feather earrings?

Kate Winslet For Glamour US April 2011

Kate Winslet graced the cover of the April 2011 edition of US Glamour magazine wearing a Hervé Léger by Max Azria dress with rose gold Van Cleef & Arpels earrings.
She was named one of the magazine’s 50 Most Glam along with other stars Nicole Kidman, Halle Berry, and Gwyneth Paltrow. To see the full list of the 50 Most Glam click here.
Photographed in New York City by Matthias Vriens-McGrath, Kate also wears a black Victoria Beckham dress and a dramatic Sophie Theallet dress.
In the magazine Kate talks about her Academy Award win, motherhood, plastic surgery and more in the issue.
On choosing to play the roles of angst-ridden women:
“It’s my chance to challenge myself to the fullest, which is one of the great joys about this job…. I love it when a character requires me to look less than my red-carpet best. It’s more fun playing a character that requires you to look like dog s–t.”
On being heavy when she was younger: “I will tell you that when I was heavy, people would say to me—and it was such a backhanded compliment—they would say, ‘You’ve got such a beautiful face,’ in the way of, like, ‘Oh, isn’t it a shame that from the neck down you’re questionable.’ ”
On whether or not she’s had plastic surgery or wants to change anything about her body: “No, I have never tried any of that stuff…. I don’t have parts of my body that I hate or would like to trade for somebody else’s or wish I could surgically adjust into some fantasy version of what they are.”

On what it was like to win the Oscar:
“…I was the kid who never won the races. I never jumped the highest. I wasn’t on the list of the high-achieving. That wasn’t me, so winning the Oscar was like winning all the prizes in one single night that I never won as a kid. For me, it was an internal-fist-pumping moment of yes.”
On if her ambition has changed since winning the Oscar: “I have just wanted to be an actress. That’s always been my goal. I didn’t want to be famous. I wanted to play incredibly challenging, multifaceted characters. Because we are all a puzzle.”

On the difficulties of raising kid:
“The challenge is making sure that they’re never treated different just because I sometimes am. I always want them to be regular kids who are grateful and respectful of other human beings. I want them to know that when we fly first-class, that they are lucky. The highest compliment I could ever receive about my kids—and I can say that this does happen frequently—is when the in-flight crew say to me, ‘Your children are wonderful. They are so well-behaved.’ Every time I am told that, I could weep.”
On what she thinks her life will be like in five years: I don’t want to know. As long as my kids are OK, I think it is really good for me not to have the answers.”

Abbie Cornish In Lanvin – “Limitless” New York Premiere

Abbie Cornish attended the premiere of her new movie, “Limitless” earlier this week in New York City.
She opted to wear a Lanvin black crushed ramie blend dress from the Spring 2011 collection.
The neckline of her commercial version of this dress doesn’t plunge as deeply as the models.
You may remember that Gwyneth Paltrow wore this same dress when she performed at the CMA Awards, but hers had the deeper plunging neckline.
Abbie added Stuart Weitzman black satin ‘Femina’ peep toe pumps, a black VBH clutch and Broken English gold jewelry to her look.
Between the modified neckline and Julie Andrews hairstyle I’m not excited about this look at all.

Amber Heard In Michael Kors – Michael Kors 30th Anniversary Celebratory Dinner

We haven’t seen much of Amber Heard on the red carpet lately, but she was in Paris last night attending the Michael Kors’ 30th anniversary dinner at the US Ambassador’s Residence.
She wore a suntan Michael Kors Fall 2011 ensemble.
The look consists of a bodysuit, a pleated skirt and an asymmetric belt.
Michael Kors Fall 2011 mirrored platform sandals and a gold clutch completed the look.
On this rare occasion I think I would’ve preferred the black version on Amber.
I’m not sure if it’s the contrast of this picture or the colour of this look, but Amber is looking a tad washed out.
This colour looked better on Gwyneth Paltrow at the Vanity Fair Oscar party because the actress had a sun-kissed glow.
Did Amber make the right choice?
Do you think she should’ve opted for the black version?

Gwyneth Paltrow In Michael Kors – 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Gwyneth Paltrow changed from her Calvin Klein dress to a Michael Kors dress at the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar Party last night.
Her Michael Kors Fall 2011 one shoulder suntan jersey gown was decorated with crystal embroidery.
A gold Jimmy Choo “Cosma” clutch, Christian Louboutin Pigalle Plato glitter pumps and a spectacular pair of 20 carat Forevermark Cushion Cut Diamond Stud Earrings by Diarough completed her look.
I whilst I prefer this over the Calvin Klein dress, this dress was more appropriate for this party. It may have been too causal for the Oscars.
