Elie Saab Fall 2011

Elie Saab’s Fall 2011 collection was Parisian chic personified.
For those who say that Elie Saab only creates red carpet gowns, his Fall 2011 collection will prove them wrong.
The designer showcased many daytime pieces which included leather jackets, sheath dresses, pants paired with tunics, streamline coats and knits for the first time.
We saw plenty of slim silhouettes and cinched in waist via peplums and belts which accented dresses, skirt suits, jackets and gowns.
Demi Moore will love the many black pieces which were presented, plus we also saw nude, red, burgundy and stone with touches of florals.
Elie Saab’s celebrity clientèle will be happy to see the array of stunning gowns on display.
Of course I was in love with the embellished gowns, but any of his gowns would light up a red carpet.
Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long, but I’m banking on us seeing many looks during Cannes Film Festival.
Celebs have plenty of gowns choose from; halters, strapless, cap sleeves, bold shoulders, plunging necklines, peplum waists, central split, side split and long sleeved gowns.
Key accessories included Mary Jane-inspired strappy heels and clutches.

Florence Welch Front Row @ Valentino Fall 2011

Did Florence Welch read your comments? Because she opted for a different look whilst making her way to her front row seat at the Valentino Fall 2011 presentation in Paris yesterday morning.
Some of you have been looking forward to Florence giving us something different to the floaty, tiered, floral floor-length dresses she’s worn on several occasions recently.
Here we have a Valentino Pre-Fall 2011 look which included a rose pink dress paired with a ruffled leather cropped jacket.
A Valentino clutch and berry pumps which matched her berry lips completed her look.
You’ll also be happy to see a different hairstyle on this occasion.

Florence Welch In Chanel – Chanel Dinner Party

Florence Welch joined her BFF Blake Lively in Paris this weekend to celebrate her becoming the face to the Chanel ‘Mademoiselle’ bag.
The British singer opted for a black sheer Chanel Spring 2011 coat dress.
She’s not wearing Couture, but her look is more chic and way more sophisticated then her friends look.
What is particularly refreshing about this look is that it’s black (bet you never thought you’d hear me say that).
Florence has worn so many nude and neutral colours lately that it’s nice to see her in something different yet in keeping with unique style.
A Chanel ombre necklace completed her look.

Florence Welch In Valentino Couture – 2011 Oscars

Best British Export Award
We usually see Florence Welch at music awards, but as one of the performers at the2011 Oscars she was also walked the red carpet.
She opted to wear a Valentino Spring 2011 Couture maxi dress.
I’m glad she stayed true to her style by wearing this yellow long sleeve dress with pleated organza and chantilly lace. I love the romantic nature of this look and the flowing tiered skirt.
We are well used to seeing Florence wear this type of colour, so in future I’d love to see her be more daring with colours as she is with her style.
