Charlize Theron arrived at LAX yesterday looking very chic in a blush Stella McCartney blazer over black leather vest.
The rest of her look included grey jeans, black ankle boots and sunglasses.
Her current bag of choice is the Gucci Madison ostrich tote.
Her camel brown ostrich Gucci tote has a luggage tag and metal logo lettering with leather trim and goldtone hardware.
This is the kind of stylish handbag you’ll keep forever.

We’ve seen the Olsen twins and Emmy Rossum on the red carpet for The Metropolitan Opera Premiere of Le Comte Ory, here are the rest of the looks.
There were many black looks on the red carpet starting with Clare Danes who wore a YSL one-shoulder gown.
The floor-length black gown was adorned with gold embellishments. Her elegant look was perfect for a night at the opera.
The only pop of colour from Claudia Schiffer came via her orange nail polish.
German supermodel looked so statuesque wearing a simple black YSL Edition Soir 2011 halter dress which she paired with a gold clutch and YSL heels.
“The Good Wife” actress Julianna Margulies also opted for a very simple black YSL dress which she teamed with some tribal-eqse gold accessories. Had it not been for the accessories I would’ve been very bored with this look.
Olivia Munn was my least favourite at this event. Her black velvet YSL strapless dress isn’t the problem; it’s the black opera gloves.
They are too costumey for my liking. Only Dita can pull off those gloves.
Julianna’s co-star Christine Baranski lightened things up wearing a YSL dove grey draped dress.
I love how elegant she looks. She was the only one other than Emmy Rossum to opt for a bold lip colour as everyone else went neutral.
British actress Rebecca Hall – again like Emmy Rossum – opted for a bold colour at this event.
In a sea of black she stood out wearing a red long sleeve dress with a beaded black waistband.

On Tuesday Emmy Rossum excitedly tweeted that she was having a fitting with YSL.
I can see why she was so excited when she stepped onto the red carpet at the Metropolitan Opera Premiere of Le Comte Ory in New York City last night.
The “Shameless” actress was radiant wearing a draped jade YSL gown which was accented with a purple bejeweled waistband which complemented her suede YSL peep-toes.
There’s nothing like bold red lips and big bouncy waves to complete a stunning look.
I love that even her hidden heels are perfection.

Miranda Cosgrove attended the Points Of Light Institute Tribute to former President George H.W. Bush wearing dark grey Stuart Weitzman patent pumps. These heels are distracting and don’t work with her peachy/pink/nude dress.
She needed a nude, blush or pastel coloured shoe.
Shoes Miranda Should Have Worn:
Brian Atwood’s blush coloured Wagner satin peep-toe pumps blend perfectly with Miranda’s outfit. This heel works well because the satin texture on the pump contrasts with the fabric on her dress.
The lilac Pour La Victoire Irina pumps are beautiful and complement the tint of purple featured on Miranda’s dress. This heel is age and event appropriate for Miranda.
Miu Miu’s antique rose leather platform pumps would have saved the day. They’re a much better shoe choice and work with the overall pinkish hue.
The Chrisse Morris nude and metallic bronze tassel pumps are such a fun shoe. If Miranda would have removed her necklace (which doesn’t work either) these heels would have been a unique shoe choice. They’re completely different from her dress but still work since they feature pink, nude and bronze colors.
Which pair would you pick for Miranda?

A very fashionable crowd attended the Metropolitan Opera Premiere of Le Comte Ory in New York City last night.
The event was presented by Yves Saint Laurent, who dressed all the celebrity attendees.
Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen (joint at the hip) opted for very different looks.
Ashley looked fabulous wearing a green stole over her black shift dress, whilst her sister wore a long and loose black polka dot dress with a grey sleeveless coat.
Ashley hair was styled into a chic updo. MK opted for a side-sweeping plait.
The sisters complete their looks wearing black pumps and carrying YSL clutches.

Lush bouncy waves that ooze oomph and effortless sex appeal? Now this is the kind of hair every girl wants to have. Kudos to whoever styled Jamie Chung’s locks for the L.A. premiere of Sucker Punch. Her loose retro waves instantly evoke thoughts of our favorite film noir seductresses of yesteryear, like Ava Gardner, Veronica Lake and Rita Hayworth. Below, our tips on how you too can master temptress tresses.
—Divide hair into small sections and quickly pass a ceramic flat iron down the entire hair shaft (from roots to tips) to even hair out and remove tangles;
—Holding the flat iron vertically, close the plates mid-shaft (just under your ear) and lightly turn and clap the iron until you reach the ends;
—Using both of your index fingers, immediately roll each section up and pin each curl flat on your scalp with a clip. This allows your strands to cool and set in a coiled position, giving each curl more definition. Bonus points if you do this every single night—your waves can last a full week!;
—Remove clips and brush ringlets with a paddle brush to turn curls into waves;
—Lastly, mist your mane with a lightweight dry oil. It helps tame frizz and gives your mane a glossy finish.

She wowed me again last night at the “Sucker Punch” LA Premiere.
I will love her for life for wearing one of my favourite looks from the Giambattista Valli strapless draped mousseline dress from the Spring 2011 collection.
The yellow dress has a taupe panel which drapes from the waist and a sexy thigh-high split.
She teamed her look with Loree Rodkin chandelier earrings, a Loree Rodkin Peacock feather ring, a silver Judith Leiber “Op Art” embossed leather minaudière and nude Ruthie Davis pumps.
I wish she opted for strappy heels.
Thick brunette waves draped over one shoulder and red lippie completed her look.

Uma Thurman has been going for an earthy look recently, so was happy she pulled out all the stops at the “Ceremony” LA Premiere.
The blonde actress wore a metallic gold Lanvin trench coat/dress, which looked like she was dripping in liquid gold.
Her golden girl theme continued to her Jimmy Choo ‘Evita’ crystal sandals.
Uma sported H.Stern jewels, a slightly unkempt braid and rose pink lips.
Even without this material her beauty would still shine.

Katie Holmes attended a special screening of her short film “The Decision” in New York City last night.
The actress opted for a sophisticated menswear look for her big night.
Her Stella McCartney Resort 2011 look included a white blazer with black lapels and black cropped pants.
She added fun pair of Dolce & Gabbana polka dotted heels to complete her sultry menswear look.
For me the best thing about this look is that she doesn’t have a 5ft 7in man hanging from her hip.
You may remember that Julia Roberts also wore the same Stella McCartney blazer on the “Late Show with David Letterman” last year.

After being M.I.A for a while, Cheryl Cole made a triumphant return to the red carpet earlier today in London.
She was glowing as she glided down the red carpet for The Prince’s Trust Celebrate Success Awards.
The former X Factor judge greeted the Prince of Wales wearing a Sass & Bide Fall 2011 dress.
Her terracotta silk dress has embroidered details on the shoulder and waist plus a split on the side.
She used this spilt to show off her Nicholas Kirkwood heels.
This is Cheryl back at her best, big hair and all.
She appeared to fall out of love with dressing up during her last season of the X Factor, so it’s good to see she has her mojo back.
Glossy L’Oreal brunette waves and a Diane von Furstenberg Lytton minaudiere completed her BDOTW worthy look.

Mulberry presented their Spring 2011 collection at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul, Korea today.
The recognisable face in the front row was UK TV presenter Alexa Chung.
Her dress was a season ahead of the runway models, as she wore a Mulberry Fall 2011 lilac pleated dress with opaque tights.
Alexa styled her look with an animal print Mulberry Alexa bag and Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony Mary Ann clog boots.
Those are so super heavy boots, but we are well used to Alexa wearing these types of clog-like boots. Her moto seems to be the weirder the footwear the better, but somehow she makes them work on this occasion.
After the show Alexa treated the guests with her DJ talents.
They were also treated with Polaroid cameras to capture their Spring 2011 Mulberry moments on film.

It’s a rather daring look for someone who’s style is more sophisticated and subdued; absolutely a risk, but we think it paid off—majorly.
At the Louis Vuitton party for Sam Taylor-Wood, English actress Thandie Newton went for whimsical with this kooky top knot chignon that sat slightly off-center, right atop her forehead. One part ‘Grey Gardens‘ granny, two parts ‘laissez-faire’ hair, we think Thandie’s on to something. We’re guessing it won’t be long before other stars start pushing their ponys a bit more forward as well—here’s how to get the look before everyone else jumps on the high bun bandwagon:
Step #1: Using a boar bristle brush (helps tame pesky flyaways), sweep hair into a very high position, like 4-to-5 inches off of your forehead;
Step #2: Tautly secure ponytail using a snag-less rubber band, and slip hair through a chignon pillow and push it to the base;
Step #3: Twist the hair around the pillow, and secure with bobby pins;
Step #4: Mist with hairspray to set.

On Wednesday morning Taylor Swift was spotted leaving her hotel in London.
She was making her way to Abbey Road Studios where she is set to perform a special gig.
The Country singer was in very high spirits as she was greeted by her UK fans.
She looked adorable wearing a Topshop ivory lace dress with two tone heels.
Her look was completed with a Ralph Lauren tan mini briefcase from the Spring 2011 collection which she’s been seen carrying everywhere whilst in Europe.
What I like most about Taylor’s look is that she added a black tutu to her Topshop dress. This makes it look like a two-tone dress and adds a flare to the skirt.
A black belt complements her black hemline.
See the girl does have some imagination when it comes to fashion.
What do you think of her modified look?

Katie Holmes was spotted out in New York City this afternoon after running errands ahead of tonight’s premiere of her latest movie, “The Decision.”
She was dressed casually wearing jeans, a khaki jacket and croc boots.
As you know Katie has been working with Jeanne Yang on their Holmes & Yang collection for a while now.
The collection recently expanded with the addition of bags following a collaboration with the luxury Italian house Valextra.
This collaboration was a natural choice for Holmes & Yang, considering Katie had a mild obsession with their bags back in 2009.
Katie opted to debut a dark grey version of the Valextra for Holmes & Yang bag with a croc-embossed leather flap detail today.
I’m sure people are going to make the comparison with Victoria Beckham’s bag collection, but I think the Valextra for Holmes & Yang bag seems more wearable for everyday use.
The Valextra for Holmes & Yang line consists of one bag in different colourways and 3 different sizes. The best feature of this bag is the iPad compartment.

With their first entry into the handbag forum, Holmes & Yang have created the thinking woman's no-brainer: a forever investment piece that addresses everyday practical concerns while turning heads.
Valextra, the Italian luxury house, has supplied top-quality materials and workmanship to the project, while Holmes & Yang have brought a fresh, easy American style sensibility and a highly-developed sense of function. The first bags spent six months in development, according to Yang, and the investment has paid off: The result is a smart shape (the tapering at the top keeps the large bag from looking blocky and makes for a comfortable fit under the arm), distinguished coloring, and an interior space that defies even the most determined disorganizer.
In fact, the team seems to have designed the bag almost from the inside out. At their trunk show today at Barney's in Beverly Hills, Yang couldn't wait to display the inner workings: the built-in pockets for lip gloss (or keys), makeup compact and phone; the center compartment for an iPad; the spaces for a wallet and any other sizeable essential (which, for Yang, might be a pair Alaia stilettos for seamless day-to-night--or coast-to-coast transitions).
The largest size (40cm) could serve as an overnight bag, a briefcase, or an everyday carryall. As roomy as a Birkin, it is much lighter and made with double shoulder straps for maximum functionality. This is a top-quality luxury bag made for a woman who has important things to do and needs her arms free to do them--whether she is opening her own door or carrying her children or shopping for her groceries or shaking the hands of her constituents.
The middle size (35cm) comes with a cross-body strap and the smallest, a clutch, will be available in a burgundy color.
